Prior to the auction of the ‘Crown Jewels’ of Highbury, there will be many hidden gems available in the two exclusively online general sales through www.highburyauction.com, the first commencing on Monday 19th June with the online sale of many of the volume, commercial and catering goods from the stadium.
Stadium Commercial
The sale of over 700 lots of stadium commercial catering equipment will include many items which will continue to be of great commercial value to companies. These include over 70 stainless steel chillers, stainless steel preparation tables and a range of water boilers, chest freezers, trolleys, ice machines and grills. As Highbury catered for many thousands of people on a match-day there is an extensive range of restaurant and canteen furniture for any entrepreneurs who wish to use items from the ‘Home of Football’ in their catering establishment. There are also many more items which could also appeal to the more discerning memorabilia collector who wishes to bid for a piece of history including over 50 pie warmers and hot dog cookers!

Stadium Office Furniture / I.T. Equipment, Plant, Floodlights
The second sale contains a mix of items which will again appeal to Arsenal fans, football lovers, memorabilia collectors, small and large businesses – including other football and sports clubs alike. For example whilst this sale will include a large quantity of office furniture such as desks, chairs, filing cabinets it also includes the giant, and somewhat iconic jumbotron screens which have resided in two corners of the stadium and the Highbury Floodlights. For those fans looking to secure a smaller but unique piece of Highbury, many ceramic tiles embossed with the classic 1930s AFC brand are available. Other unique items of note include the match-day PA system, the contents of 54 Executive Boxes, over 300 items of PC equipment and many pieces of art deco stadium signage.
